Youth for Entrepreneurship (Y4E) helps young people turn their ideas into action. Through hands-on workshops, mentorship, and real-world learning, participants explore entrepreneurship while developing the confidence and skills needed to succeed in today’s economy. Whether you want to start a business, lead a project, or build transferable career skills, Y4E provides the tools and support to get started.

The YMCA Black Achievers Mentorship Program connects Black high school students with mentors who guide, inspire, and support them in reaching their goals. This program builds leadership, provides access to resources, and creates opportunities for success in school, career, and life.

YMCA Academy is a small, independent specialized middle school and high school that provides unique educational resources to young people with learning disabilities and learning style differences. Overnight and Leadership Camp at YMCA Camp Pine Crest
Our goal at YMCA Camp Pine Crest is to provide a safe and unique environment for children to push themselves out of their comfort zones, disconnect from technology, learn, socialize and grow. Camp programs are available for youth, ranging from 2 night to 7-weeks. Campers participate in outdoor challenges, teamwork, and personal reflection, building the confidence and skills to lead in their communities.

YMCA Summer Work Student Exchange (SWSE)
SWSE is a six-week national program that connects youth across Canada. Participants ages 16–17 live in another community, gain paid work experience, and improve their French or English language skills. It’s an opportunity to travel, work, and discover Canada — all in one summer.

YEC gives youth ages 12–17 the chance to discover a different part of the country. Groups travel together, stay with host families, and take part in hands-on learning activities. It’s about connecting, exchanging, and discovering — while building friendships and exploring Canada.

IYIP gives Canadians ages 18–30 the chance to gain global work experience while contributing to international development. Interns are placed with partner organizations abroad, where they support meaningful community projects and strengthen cross-cultural understanding.

Youth Substance Awareness Program (YSAP)
The YMCA Youth Substance Awareness Program (YSAP) gives youth a safe and judgment-free space to talk about substance use and the challenges that come with it. The program focuses on building awareness, sharing facts, and supporting youth in making healthier choices. Through interactive workshops, group discussions, and peer learning, youth explore the impact of substance use, discover ways to handle peer pressure, and get positive coping strategies for stress.
