YMCA CAMP PINE CREST

Overnight Camp

(Ages 5-14)

Our Overnight Camp programs offer a classic camp experience filled with friends, learning, and fun. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in activities like swimming, archery, canoeing, rock climbing and so much more!

Registration opens on November 11 for returning campers and January 6 for new campers.

Overnight Camp Programs

Being at camp is a unique, memorable and rewarding experience. Our goal at YMCA Camp Pine Crest is to provide a safe and unique environment for children to push themselves out of their comfort zones, disconnect from technology, learn, socialize and grow. We sleep in cabins of eight campers and two counsellors, eat in dining halls as large groups (up to 300 people), and are outside most of each day enjoying quality time with nature.

We expect all campers and staff to treat one another with kindness and respect, and help others enjoy their time away from home. Our hope is for campers to return home with greater confidence, new friendships, and excitement for their outdoor surroundings. Many return to camp year after year!

Two Week Camp

(Ages 7-14)

Our two-week program is the quintessential Pine Crest experience for campers. In this program, we focus on skill mastery and relationship building. Over the course of this program there are plenty of opportunities to learn and develop skills in daily lessons. Furthermore, campers will develop incredible bonds with their cabin mates and counsellors by spending time with them each day in programs, at meals, and on a canoe trip. Every two week cabin group will go on a canoe trip that ranges from one to four nights in length. The length of your camper’s trip is based on their age. Available for Bantams (Ages 7–8, Born 2018– 2019), Juniors (Ages 9– 10, Born  2017– 2016), Seniors (Ages 11– 12, Born 2015– 2014), and Pioneers (Ages 13-14, Born  2012-2013).

Accessibility & Inclusion Program (1:1 support)

At the YMCA, we believe that the camp experience can benefit all children. That is why we work to the best of our capabilities, to provide an engaging, comfortable and inclusive camp experience for campers of all abilities in our camp programs. Additional staff support is given to camper groups, along with 1:1 staff support to individuals who require additional support in order to fully participate, including campers with disabilities.

Your camper will be integrated into the cabin group entirely and will attend all programs with their cabin group. If you have a camper requiring 1:1 support, please contact the Camp Office directly at 1-877-878-9622 prior to registering for more information.
