Build essential workplace skills for free with LOP! Our workshops cover computer basics, digital skills, and communication to boost your confidence and help you succeed at work.
About LOP
This program helps give adults confidence to look for work. We offer free workshops that teach the skills employers require, from computer basics to soft skills to workplace communication.
Our workshops are small, supportive, and inclusive. LOP is about learning, as well as building community and a sense of belonging.

Who We Support
All adult learners are welcome, including Canadian citizens, permanent residents, refugees, and work permit holders. However, the training is most useful for adults aged 45 to 64.
Whether you're brushing up on basics, looking for work, or want to be more independent in everyday life, we're here to support your growth and learning.
To participate, you must:
- Have a Social Insurance Number (SIN)
- Be unemployed or employed part-time
- Not have post-secondary education
- Communicate in English comfortably
- Be 18 or older

Additional LOP Training
We also offer Building Everyday Skills training for emergent readers throughout the year. Participants work with a tutor one-on-one or in a small group, focusing on their goals.
This training helps to improve:
- Reading

- Numeracy
- Digital skills
