Why are prices increasing?
This modest increase in membership rates will help us continue to deliver quality programs and services for the community.
When will the new fees take effect?
The new membership rates will take effect on July 1, 2026. Updated rates will automatically appear in your MyY account.
What will the new membership prices be?
Membership rates will increase modestly. To view updated pricing for your location, please visit your local centre’s Find a Y page.
Do you offer financial assistance for memberships?
Yes! Although we have kept the fee increases modest, we understand that every person’s financial situation is unique. As a charity, we do not want pricing changes to affect your ability to enjoy the YMCA. If needed, we encourage you to explore our Financial Assistance program.
Are prices increasing for assisted memberships?
The percentage of financial assistance available to eligible members will remain the same. However, there will be a slight increase to membership fees.
If your financial circumstances have changed and you would like to adjust your financial assistance, please speak with a membership services representative at your local YMCA centre.
