Description
Come enjoy a Halloween-themed weekend at Camp Pine Crest and celebrate Halloween with the family! Programs will include pumpkin carving, themed meals, trick-or-treating and much more!
Arrival begins at 5pm on Friday October 24th - don't stress if you can't make it right for 5pm though, there will be a buffet dinner served from 6-7pm. The weekend includes 3 meals/day & snacks, accommodation in our Lodges or Cabins, and Halloween-themed staff-led programming throughout the days and evenings. Mornings will contain age-group activities to provide parents with some time away from their kids and afternoons will have family programs that you can attend together. Departure is after lunch on Sunday.
Accommodations are in our cabins which are one-room spaces each containing 5 bunk beds. Washrooms are not in the cabins but rather nearby. Our cabins are scattered around our beautifully rugged site, but are not all fully accessible. If you have questions about the accessibility of a cabin please send us an email. If you have a specific cabin request please indicate it at the time of registration. Please note that we can't guarantee that you will get your requested cabin but we will do our best and communicate with you if we aren't able to give your first choice. Cabins will be allocated once the event registration is complete.
Meals! Our kitchen staff are proud of what they serve and prepare nutritious, tasty meals along with a nightly snack for everyone. Individuals who have dietary needs (ex. vegetarian, gluten-free, food allergies) enjoy a menu modified to suit their needs. Dietary information is captured from individuals at registration.
What should you bring with you to camp? Participants bring their own bedding, usually a single fitted sheet and either sleeping bag or blanket. Clothing suitable for the time of year, toiletries, as well as any personal items that will help make your stay more comfortable are encouraged. We believe that coming to Pine Crest should be a return to the basics where interaction with those around you is prioritized, and with that in mind encourage you to leave electronics and other valuables at home.

PROGRAM WITHDRAWAL POLICY:
If you wish to withdraw a participant from a program, you can do so by accessing the participant's registration history via your My Y Account or by submitting your request to withdraw by email to register@ymcagta.org.
Withdrawals must be processed online or requested by email prior to the program start date. Refunds will be granted as follows:
- a full refund minus the admin fee of $30 if you cancel more than 14 days prior to the activity
- if it's less than 14 days we refund 50% of the cost
- if it's less that 7 days we refund 25% of the cost
- medical withdrawals accompanied by a doctor's note get a full refund no matter the timing
- we don't offer refunds for inclement weather
No refund of any amount will be granted for non-medical withdrawals on or after the program start date. Refunds will not be issued in instances where participant(s) is/are removed from the camp program at the choice or request of the participant or the participant's parent(s)/guardian(s) or are dismissed from the camp for contravention of camp guidelines or the code of conduct.
DISCLAIMER:
All programs are subject to change or cancellation due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances that are prohibitive to the operation of the program. In these cases, you will receive a full refund of your fees paid.
