Description
This is the WSIB-recognized certification required by Early Childhood Educators, Dental, Electricians, Sports Coaches and many other professionals. Designed for those who require a more in-depth understanding of first aid and CPR. Incorporates all Emergency First Aid content as well as spinal injuries, burns, heat stroke, hypothermia, broken bones, sprains, dislocations, impaled objects, and other life-threatening medical emergencies. Includes CPR-C certification.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites to take this course
Location
Located in the heart of the quickly growing Canary District, our newest Centre of Community is an 82,000 square foot, fully accessible facility. It features something for everyone, including two pools, an indoor track and gymnasium, weight room, cardio machines, green roof, kids' play structure, cycling studio, functional fitness training space, and more. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year.

First Aid manuals are available to borrow during the course. If you would like to purchase one to keep, please go to the LifeguardDepot.com website and purchase a Canadian First Aid Manual from there.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE UP CLASSES:
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
