Come join us for our Summer Family Fun Day! This is a great opportunity for families, alumni, campers and friends to come together and visit our site for a day of fun!
We'll have plenty of outdoor activities going on for all ages - high ropes, archery, climbing wall, campfires, arts & crafts & more.
A hot lunch will be served between 11:00am and 3:00pm. During registration, you will have the opportunity to pre-purchase your lunch tickets. Tickets can also be purchased onsite on the day of, depending on availability. Your lunch ticket will include a choice of: beef burger or hot dog, plus a side, beverage and baked good. A vegetarian option is offered. Additional dietary options may also be available.
Arrival begins at 10:00am. All activities will wrap up at 3:30pm and our site will close at 4:00pm.
Tickets are required for all individuals ages 6 and up. Kids 5 and under are free of charge and do not require a ticket. Please ensure you have purchased a ticket for each individual in your party that requires one.
Please note: transportation to and from YMCA Cedar Glen is not included.
Location
Situated on 263 acres of the Oak Ridges Moraine, YMCA Cedar Glen Outdoor Centre is the perfect place for children, youth and adults to grow in confidence and learn new skills. Cedar Glen welcomes outdoor education, retreat and conference groups, offering meals in our dining hall, overnight accommodations, meeting facilities and outdoor experiential education programs. Day camp runs during summer and school breaks, and a modern child care centre provides licensed care in the natural setting.

Notes
We are a large outdoor site, and most of our activities are located in the valley. Be prepared to travel between activities. For families with small kiddos, wagons are certainly encouraged!
Hats, sunscreen, bug spray and water bottles are recommended!
There will also be plenty of opportunities to speak with our staff to see how you and your family can experience YMCA Cedar Glen all year long - family camps, group trips, forest school, summer day camps, child care, etc.
Please ensure that you have purchased a ticket for each individual (ages 6 ) who will be attending. Kids 5 and under are free of charge.
Upon registering, you will also have the option to purchase lunch tickets for $10 per person.
For this Family Fun Day, the lunch options are as follows:
- Choice of: beef burger or hot dog plus a side, beverage & baked good.
- *Vegetarian* - Choice of: veggie burger or hot dog, plus a side, beverage & baked good.
