Description
To become a certified Group Cardio and Strength Fitness Instructor, participants will first complete the included YMCA Basic Fitness Theory course. Following this, they will be required to complete the YMCA Group Strength e-learning modules, as well as 3 days of in person learning. The YMCA Cardio and Strength Instructor Course is designed to certify people to deliver group fitness classes that fall into the category of cardio (e.g. choreography, step, kickboxing, etc.) or strength (e.g. bars and plates, kettlebell, bootcamp, etc.).
Location
Conveniently located next to the Scarborough Town Shopping Centre, this YMCA offers child care, health and fitness, employment, new immigrant, and youth programs. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. On-site parking is available free to members.

Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund.
We will allow refunds if not satisfactory with the first session. After the second session you will not be refunded for any sessions completed and can request a partial refund.
