Description
The Lifesaving Competition Club is for present and former Junior and Senior Lifeguard Club members who are serious about Lifesaving Sport. This club's focus is the exciting world of Lifesaving Sport. The team will train to compete in Lifesaving regional and provincial competitions within the GTA area. Each week the team will complete a workout in the pool working on both the swimming strokes and events in lifesaving sport. There is an emphasis on learning more advanced techniques to improve speed and endurance.
Location
The Mississauga Y offers a large health and fitness centre with a newly renovated conditioning room, extensive youth and community programs, and child care services. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. Free parking is available on-site for members.

CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE UP CLASSES
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
Make up classes will be offered if a class is cancelled by the YMCA. Make up classes are not offered if the child misses a class for personal reasons. Participants who are registered in the wrong level will be withdrawn.
