Description
The Junior Lifeguard Club is an aquatic skill development based on personal-best achievement. Building on skills from junior lifeguard club intro, Junior Lifeguard Club members work to develop and improve swimming and other aquatic skills with emphasis on swimming technique, lifesaving skills, lifesaving knowledge, leadership and teamwork, community education, competition, and personal fitness.
Prerequisites are completing Junior Lifeguard Club Academy Intro. Telegames entry fees are included in the registration fee.
Location
This family-friendly centre offers health and fitness services designed to help people of all ages get active, as well as child care and community-building programs. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. A large, private lot on-site provides free parking for members.

Goggles are recommended for this class.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE UP CLASSES:
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started. Make up classes will be offered if a class is cancelled by the YMCA. Make up classes are not offered if the child misses a class for personal reasons. Participants who are registered in the wrong level will be withdrawn.
