The Brampton Barracudas, a group of 120 Junior Lifeguards, have garnered a reputation for excellence in lifeguarding and competitive swimming, as well as for finding creative ways to support their community through the YMCA. In fact, together, they’ve raised over $10,000 to help keep the YMCA accessible for kids just like them.
“The Barracudas genuinely feel a responsibility to ensure other kids can have the same opportunities to join, learn and belong as they’ve had”
– Tamar Connell, Brampton Y Aquatic Supervisor
