Description
This class is for children ages 3 - 5 who have completed the beginner and intermediate classes. This is level 5 and 6 of the YMCA Preschool Swim Program. Children in this class are working towards the following skills. • Can comfortably swim 2 lengths (50 meters) of the pool without stopping• Comfortably treads water for 30 seconds• Focus is on stroke correction and endurance using the following strokes: front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke.
Supervision: Children 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 16 years.

Location
For over 35 years, this YMCA has been providing child care, camps, and health and fitness services to members of its diverse surrounding community. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. Free parking is available on-site for members.

Goggles are recommended for this class.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE UP CLASSES:
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
Make up classes will be offered if a class is cancelled by the YMCA. Make up classes are not offered if the child misses a class for personal reasons. Participants who are registered in the wrong level will be withdrawn.
