Description
This is the 4th and 5th level of the YMCA Swim Program and is for children ages 6 and up. Participants will learn the fundamentals of swimming for Front crawl, Back crawl and an introduction to the deep end. There are up to 8 children in the Swimmer/Star 1 level class.
Supervision: Children 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 16 years.

Location
Conveniently located next to the Scarborough Town Shopping Centre, this YMCA offers child care, health and fitness, employment, new immigrant, and youth programs. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. On-site parking is available free to members.

Goggles are recommended for this class.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE UP CLASSES:
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
Make up classes will be offered if a class is cancelled by the YMCA. Make upclasses are not offered if the child misses a class for personal reasons. Participants who are registered in the wrong level will be withdrawn.
