Description
Day Camp buses are supervised by trained Y camp staff bus marshals, and parents are required to sign campers in and out with the bus marshals each day. Children must get on and off at the same bus stop daily. The bus marshals will also ensure that your child(ren) is engaged and having fun to and from Day Camp each day!Buses depart at the time stated on the bus schedule and will not wait for absent children. Please arrive approximately 10 mins before the stated departure time. Bus times may change so please ensure you check the bus schedule the Friday before your child(ren) is registered to attend Day Camp!
This bus stop is located at 70 Woodfield Road, Toronto at the intersection of Queen St E / Woodfield Rd.

Y Day Camp utilizes the Hanlan Boat Club to deliver our Paddle and Pedal program. Campers will spend their days biking, canoeing, kayaking and participating in active games. This location is a short walk to Cherry Beach Sports Field as well as Cherry Beach, where campers will swim. Working in partnership with Hanlan Boat Club, our campers in our senior program, ages 10 , will have the opportunity to be introduced to rowing from weeks 1 - 5, & 7. Camp operates from 9:00am - 4:00pm. Bussing is available from bus stops throughout the city.

PROGRAM WITHDRAWAL POLICYTo withdraw a participant from a program, you can do so by accessing the participant’s Registration History via your MY Y Account or by submitting your request to withdraw by email to register@ymcagta.org.Withdrawal’s that are processed online or requested by email 10 days before the start of the program will receive a refund minus an administration fee of 10% per program being withdrawn. Withdrawal requests received with less than 10 days’ notice will receive a refund minus an administration fee of 50% of the cost of the program being cancelled. These requests must be submitted by email to register@ymcagta.org.
GOVERNMENT CHILD CARE FEE ASSISTANCE (SUBSIDY)To withdraw a participant from a program, you must submit your request to withdraw by email to register@ymcagta.org with at least 10 days’ notice prior to the session start date.A doctor's note is required for any withdrawal due to medical reasons. Refunds are not granted for inclement weather. Any request received after the start of the course will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Refunds take 2-3 weeks to process.

DISCLAIMERThe YMCA reserves the right to amend a Registrant’s registration if we are unable to confirm where applicable the Registrant’s assisted rate, we will bill at the full cost of the program. All Programs are subject to change or cancellation due to low enrolment or other unforeseen circumstances that are prohibitive to the operation of the Program. In these cases, you will receive a full refund of your fees paid.The YMCA further reserves the right not admit or assume responsibility of a participant, if participant’s medical information is not completed and if the authorization is not signed by the parent/guardian and returned to the YMCA prior to the commencement of the registered program.
