Description
The Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor course prepares the instructor to teach and evaluate the swimming strokes and related skills found in the Lifesaving Society swim for life program. Candidates acquire proven teaching methods, planning skills, and a variety of stroke development drills and correction techniques.
Prerequisites: 15 years of age by the end of the course; Bronze Cross certification (need not be current)

A new state-of-the-art YMCA is now open on Kingston Road in the Upper Beach area. Our newest Centre of Community is a 60,000 square foot, fully accessible facility. Join us as a member, volunteer, or donor and see for yourself the vibrant, supportive community that makes our charity so special. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year.

CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE UP CLASSES:
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
