Description
This summer program offers private swim lessons delivered through a condensed session, allowing children to receive a summer’s worth of instruction in just one week. Lessons are customized to each child’s age, ability, and learning pace, with an emphasis on progressive skill development. The intensive format encourages consistent practice and strong skill retention, helping children build confidence, improve technique, and enjoy a positive and successful learning experience in the water.
Supervision: Children 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 16 years.

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Toronto, these award-winning facilities feature a wide range of health and fitness facilities and programs, a new immigrant services centre, and youth programs. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year.

To withdraw a participant from a program, you can do so by accessing the participant’s Registration History via your MY Y Account through MyY.YMCAGTA.ORG or by submitting your request to withdraw by email to memberservices@YMCAGTA.ORG
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
CHANGE TO MEMBERSHIP:
If you cancel your paid monthly or yearly membership, your program registration fee may be subject to adjustment based on the rates applicable to your new membership status.
PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS:
At the YMCA, we are committed to providing a consistent and high-quality experience for all participants. However, there may be occasions where programs need to be cancelled.
If a program is cancelled due to reasons within the YMCA’s control—such as facility maintenance, staff availability, or scheduling conflicts—a credit will be automatically applied to your account for future use.
Please note that no credits or refunds will be issued for program cancellations resulting from events outside of the YMCA’s control. These include, but are not limited to, severe weather, power outages, or other unforeseen emergencies that impact program delivery.
